Job Position: Health, Safety Environment Officer
Job Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Review existing policies and measures and update them according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHStraining of employees and executives
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issuesor non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)

- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Job Requirements
- First Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or relevant field from any reputable institution in Nigeria
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as HSE personnel in a well-structured environment
- NEBOSH/OSHA Certification will be a huge plus
- Sound communications skills (Written & Verbal)
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Ideal candidate must be resident in Ikorodu or its environs
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Attention to details
- Excellent communication skills.
