Job Position: Junior Interior Designer

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide assistance in the creation of preliminary plans and design concepts
  2. Assist in analyzing design objectives in accordance with clients’ needs
  3. Assist in providing input in the creation of a design concept statement
  4. Perform market research work in a bid to understand trends and likes of customers
  5. Order samples from vendors and handle presentations creation activities
  6. Assist with sample selections, hand sketches, drawings, schedules and boards
  7. Create specifications manuals such as room layouts
  8. Provide design, clerical and administrative support to interior designers
  9. Maintain knowledge of space planning, floor finish plans and elevations
  10. Manage design libraries of resources and maintain files and binders
  11. Assist with marketing developments and associated activities
  12. Take minutes at client’s meetings and recording
  13. Assist Senior Designer in developing design concepts and space plans
  14. Provide support in creating sourcing materials and CAD plans for various projects
  15. Act as a bridge between interior designers and the project team
  16. Assist in handling communication with clients through telephones, emails and official letters
  17. Assist with installations, coordinate deliveries and handle post-installation follow up activities
  18. Check-in receipt of merchandise and sign for packages.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to learn and communicate appropriate
  • Have a can-do attitude
  • Lives around Lekki – Ajah environs.
