Ella & Black Associates Limited – Our client, ActivEdge Technologies Limited, an I.T company is looking for Senior Sales Executives with corporate sales experience in the Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Information Technology or Construction industries coming with their own client portfolio to drive sales.
Job Position: IT Infrastructure – Presales Engineer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Reports To: Supervisor or Team Lead
Job Type: Permanent
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business.
- Working with popular OEM Infrastructure products like F5, Hitachi, etc.
- Attending meetings with business development managers and acting as a technical expert.
- Putting together business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals.
- Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions.
- Ensuring that the company’s product can deliver on the customer’s requirements.
- Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements.
- Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
- Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.
- Providing ongoing support for customers post-implementation.
- Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable.
Competency and Skill Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant pre-sales experience
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships
- Ability to demonstrate software products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied
technical knowledge - Knowledge of Information Infrastructure solutions, Vulnerability Management, Firewall
Administration, Endpoint Security and Antivirus Management solutions - Ability to demonstrate software products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied
technical knowledge - Self-starter with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Industry certifications such as Cisco, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, LTM, GTM and AFM modules proficiency will
be an advantage - Relevant Product based certifications such as IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft are desired.
- Applicants must not be more than 32 years old
Monthly Salary
N300k-N400k (Negotiable)
Salaries higher than the amount stated can be negotiated. This is only the proposed amount and is not fixed
