Job Position: Human Resources/Training Officer

Job Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  2. Review the employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  3. Track staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of new employees as needed.
  4. Coordinate general leave administration; this includes maintaining an annual leave calendar for leave projections, and outstanding leave days.
  5. Maintain and update all staff personnel files; using an appropriate checklist to ensure complete documentation
  6. Take the lead on the performance management process with the collation of mid-year and end of year review documentation as well as draft confirmation letters for staff who are due.
  7. Provide advice to management on employee relations issues including maintaining payment schedules and issuing memos to accounts for payment/due dates for Pension, Health Insurance and other statutory deductions.
  8. Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
  9. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operation
  10. Maintain and update all staff personnel files; using an appropriate checklist to ensure complete documentation.
  11. Ensure regular updates of the HR database with information on personnel records, biodata, salaries, or promotions as well as resignations.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc Degree in a Human Resource Management or related field
  2. Excellent people management skills.
  3. Business process optimization skills
  4. Excellent leadership skills
  5. Strong written and oral communication.
  6. Organization and attention to detail.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Time management.
  9. Ability to navigate stressful situations
  10. Must demonstrate the confidence and ability to relate with stakeholders in an assertive and professional way.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month
