Job Position: General Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The Fund Manager (based in Nigeria) is currently managing millions of dollars (Naira denominated) Fund and is in the process of investing capital across a variety of infra sub sector.
  2. The role requires a commercially astute individual with strong planning and analysis skills, able to look beyond the numbers and understand the wider business context that results in effective business partnering.
  3. Responsible for strategic planning and performance management processes.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops efficient embedded systems for data transparency throughout the organization
  2. Provides curated actionable information and analysis to the board and management with the objective of continuous improvement in decision making and financial performance of the organization
  3. Manages the organization’s performance dashboards.
  4. Customizes dashboards based on target audience
  5. Participate in setting Ecologique’s finance strategy and objectives
  6. Preparation of rolling forecasts by taking the ideas and strategy and translating them into meaningful financial information such as profitability, balance sheet growth, growth impacts
  7. Challenge the plans of business units and integrate those plans into the Ecologique business plan
  8. Develop and implement reporting of key management information ensuring data integrity and timely communication to relevant stakeholders
  9. Develop and monitor performance benchmarks for business units
  10. Develop reporting dashboards and monitoring systems for new projects, business units and customers
  11. Performs any other duties as assigned on approval of the board.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University
  • 8+ years related experience in financial management and analysis
  • Strong data analytics skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with cost cutting/management initiatives – strong finance management experience
  2. Strong project management/development experience
  3. Experience working with a startup.

Salary
N1,500,000 – N2,000,000 (based on qualification and wealth of experience).
