Job Position: Frontend Developer

Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with  React.js and React-native.
  2. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows.
  3. You will ensure that these components and overall applications are robust and easy to maintain.
  4. You will coordinate with the rest of the team to deliver a working product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and quality product is important.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing new user facing features using React.js and React native.
  2. Building reusable components using React concepts.
  3. Translating designs and wireframes into quality code.
  4. Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Job Requirements

  1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  2. Thorough understanding of React.js,React-native, and their core principles
  3. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
  4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  5. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  6. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  7. Understanding and ability to use version control tools i.e Git
  8. Experience with debugging using dev tools.
  9. Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile software development.
  10. Experience working with Docker, Typescript, and GraphQL/Apollo would be a plus.
  11. Experience or aptitude for implementing scalable software.
