Job Description
- The Business Development Executive (Key Accounts) is responsible for improving and growing the business by developing and deepening relationships with our clients.
- She will be responsible for consistent, long-term profitable growth in sales revenues from these customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Design an aggressive business development strategy to achieve sales targets. Drive the implementation
- Identify and generate new business leads and opportunities for the business across locations and states in the country
- Own the sales/revenue targets and drive marketing activities to achieve the same
- Develop business proposals for existing and new customers;clients, referrals, presentations, and prospects.
- Supervise database of client relationship management and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists
- Liaise with the technical team and other departments as appropriate to ensure service delivery in due dates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to enhance business expansion and improve market share in all product and service lines.
- Participate in forums related to the industry; conferences and client discussions. In other words, act as a representative of the company
- Conduct research and constantly analyze the market trends to identify new markets and customer needs
- Identify and research potential clients.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
- Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
- Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients.
- Any other duty of similar responsibility assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year in the sales industry
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the Nigerian media market.
- Knowledge of Global Media And PR Agency Market
- Good knowledge of Financial Instruments
- Good Marketing Skills
- Good Relationship Management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines and a solid track record of achieving and surpassing aggressive sales/revenue objectives
- Result-oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment with increasing levels of responsibility
- Strong professionally – credible, flexible, honest, and trustworthy
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
