Job Position: CCTV Technician

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, specify, configure, and install analog and digital CCTV systems.
  2. Maintain and upgrade existing analog and digital CCTV systems as needed.
  3. Support users of CCTV system by responding and resolving any issues on client’s device in real time.
  4. Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to CCTV systems.
  5. Assist with the configuration, deployment, and support of network assets.
  6. Installation and maintenance of alarm system, access control, panic buttons.
  7. Be familiar with network operating system
  8. Provide recommendations about accessing security and support
  9. Troubleshoot all technology issues
  10. Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
  11. Ensure installation of lock out programs
  12. Perform other related duties as required during working hours.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc., HND, OND, C&G, or Trade Test II & I in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering / Computer Science and ICT;
  • Demonstrable practical experience in electrical installation work, especially on CCTV and other security products like panic buttons and access control.

Other requirements:

  1. Good English speaking skills, verbal and written;
  2. Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, High Energy Level;
  3. Minimum of 5 years experience in a technician role or electrical installation work;
  4. Extrovert personality;
  5. Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines;
  6. Self-motivated and accustomed to working with minimum supervision;
  7. Ability to operate in challenging and remote work locations;
  8. Ability to cope with pressure.
