Job Position: Salon Operations Manager

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Salon operations manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day running of the business, supervising staff and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Actively follow up with staff to ensure provision of quality services at every point. And ensuring customers are satisfied with services rendered
  2. Oversee staff welfare (Birthdays, Leave, Induction, staff files, etc.)
  3. Supervise cleaners to ensure cleanliness of the salon at every time of the day
  4. Manage correspondences and appointment via phones, Whatsapp, and email etc,
  5. Ensure staff actively carry out their roles and comply with organizational policies
  6. Keep records of all operating expenditure and ensure the smooth running of the salon, payment of utility bills & taxes
  7. Prepare and send accurate daily reports to the management
  8. Conduct research on industry-related topics & suggest new ways to promote company offerings
  9. Update customers information and database, identify customers’ needs, make relevant recommendations.
  10. Daily quality control checks on newly produced inventory & newly produced stock
  11. Managing inventory and maintaining the optimal reorder level.
  12. Ensure social media handles are updated, edit and proofread contents/videos before posting on social media account
  13. Receive and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  14. Handle transactions, cash register, expenditures, keep updated record of costs and revenue
  15. Perform other administrative tasks as may be required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc / B.A from a reputable and accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of managerial/operations experience in a the retail, fashion and beauty industry.

Skills and Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools especially Word and Excel
  2. Must reside within close proximity to Lekki Phase 1
  3. Friendly and calm personality
  4. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing outstanding customer service
  5. Leadership and Supervisory skills and ability to manage situations within the company
  6. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  7. Fluent in English with excellent writing,and communication skills
  8. Highly organised, tech savvy and possess excellent time-management skills
  9. Proactive and smart personality
  10. Good knowledge of record-keeping.
