Job Description

  • Our client is looking for an experienced transportation manager to be responsible for overseeing the logistics of its company’s transportation-related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage heavy-duty equipment
  2. Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
  3. Inspecting vehicles
  4. Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
  5. Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up-to-date qualifications
  6. Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
  7. Maintaining and completing accurate records
  8. Keeping schedules and organizing team members.

Job Requirement

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
  2. At least 3 years experience as a transportation manager in a similar industry.
  3. Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
  4. Experience working with union contracts and transportation-related government regulations.
  5. Ability to work well with others
  6. Complex problem-solving skills
  7. Good attention to detail.
