Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Position: General Manager, Finance

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
  2. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
  3. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
  4. Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
  5. Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
