Job Position: Learning & Development Lead

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. As a Learning and Development Lead your primary responsibility will be to build a dynamic function that supports goal of Ultimcred becoming a learning organization.
  2. This is a high-performing job requiring collaboration with teams across the business to manage and deliver appropriate learning interventions.
  3. The ability to be innovative and creative in delivering learning solutions is essential.
  4. You will be managing an inter-generational audience.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create and execute learning strategies and programs
  2. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
  3. Implement various learning methods company-wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
  4. Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  5. Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  6. Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  7. Track budgets and negotiate contracts
  8. Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists.

Job Requirements 

  • BSc / BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPLP) is a plus
  • 3 – 5 years experience
  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
