Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Description
- Our client is in search of a social media manager who will be responsible for creating appealing and creative digital content for the salon’s various social media platforms to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic, and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing.
- As a Social media manager, you should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.
- You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the salon and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Generating, publishing, and sharing daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Ensuring brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management.
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
- Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
- Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Develop creative sales and marketing strategies using social media tools such as reels, IG TV, IG Live, TikTok e.t.c
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Performing other duties when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
- 1 – 3 experience managing digital communities.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent content creator.
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Ability to have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in using various analytics software.
- Good Time-management skills.
- Self-Motivated.
- Efficient Problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using social media scheduling, grid planning, design, video, and photo editing tools such as canvas, inshot, planoly e.t.c
Salary
N70,000 monthly
