Prime Commodity Exchange (PCX) is set up as a private sector driven commodities exchange to provide a platform for efficient trading of commodities and commodity backed assets. The Exchange incorporated in the year 2020 has built a global technology platform to support matching of trades between buyers and sellers.

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Mabushi, Abuja

Job Responsibilities

  1. Management of accounting systems and processes which include system access and reconciliation of records
  2. Preparing and reviewing analysis of cash forecast
  3. Monitoring costs and expenditures against budgets and forecasts
  4. Preparing all year end accounts
  5. Preparing monthly salary payroll
  6. Preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  7. Responsible for reviews of all internal financial controls and the improvements on the business processes
  8. Responsible for Finance and Accounting activities of the company
  9. Interface with statutory agencies for remittance of Tax, Pension, PAYE, etc.
  10. Calculation of applicable taxes according to the law.
  11. Ensure that the financial policies /procedures of the company are implemented efficiently and in line with generally accepted accounting practices.
  12. Institute adequate financial control systems and processes to secure the assets and efficient operation of the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
