Job Position: HR / Admin Officer
Job Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Job Description
- Organize and maintain personnel records.
- Update internal HR databases (e.g., sick, annual, casual or maternity leave).
- Prepare HR documents like offer letters, employment contracts.
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics.
- Answer employee queries about HR-related issues.
- Provide relevant employee information e.g, work schedules, attendance report etc
- Handle HR projects (e.g., help organize induction, training programs and other events)
- Handle essential recruitment tasks, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, calling candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Set up and schedule meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and departmental heads.
- Provide orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
- Document and track human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Participate in a process of organization development to plan, communicate, and integrate the results of strategic planning throughout the organization.
- Supports Senior Managers in company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
- Adhere to all confidentiality policies in the human resource department and the organization.
- Other administrative duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. / M.Sc. in a Social Science discipline with not less than 4 – 5 years’ track record of delivery in HR project execution and management. Previous work experience in the financial and banking sector would is preferrable.
- HR Certification in CIPM, CIPD or SHRM would be an added advantage.
