Job Position: Senior Marketing Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We’re looking for an experienced and creative Senior Marketing Manager who is passionate about our mission of driving financial inclusion in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our brand strategy and campaigns.
  2. The role involves close collaboration across the business. We are looking for a strong project manager and relationship builder who has experience executing various channels and is excited about getting stuck into new challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for defining and shaping marketing strategy across digital assets and traditional media in Nigeria.
  2. Lead the marketing function ensuring ongoing performance, coaching and personal development for all Nigeria team members.
  3. Work closely with global marketing team, ensure effective implementation of a plan to support the company’s goals, taking advantage of existing activity and tweaking it where relevant.
  4. Leading the strategy planning and execution of brand campaigns across various channels, including social media, paid media, events, PR, campaigns, and more.
  5. Build market leading influencer marketing strategies and campaigns that resonate with creators and their audiences, driving authentic advocacy for the brand.
  6. Responsible for budgeting and budget allocation across campaigns.
  7. Propose, measure, and report on campaign objectives and key results.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Marketing or related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years Marketing Manager experience, ideally in payment industry.
  3. Leadership experience either with direct people management or leading high-profile projects.
  4. Proven track record managing integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns and external agencies.
  5. Experience in implementing large scale campaigns from start to finish, including event planning and execution is a big plus.
