Job Position: Inventory / Logistics Associate

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a dedicated and reliable inventory manager to join our growing company.
  • Your chief goal in this position will be to monitor and report on our company’s inventory levels.
  • You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures
  2. Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages
  3. Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
  4. Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
  5. Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment
  6. Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems
  7. Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus
  8. Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals
  9. Perform regular stock checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
  10. Maintain and update records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
  11. Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
  12. Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field
  2. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  3. Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques
  4. An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
  5. Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
