Lumos enables people to replace hazardous and expensive kerosene generators and lanterns with modern solar electricity that can power lights, cellphones, fans, computers, TVs and other small electronic devices (all at once, every day). By offering Solar Power as a service, Lumos offers homes and small businesses a simple and affordable way to pay for electricity in small installments using their mobile phones.

Job Position: Account Assistant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  2. Create and update expense reports
  3. Process reimbursement forms
  4. Prepare bank deposits
  5. Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  6. Maintain digital and physical financial records
  7. Issue invoices to customers as needed
  8. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
  9. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  10. Recording and filing cash transactions.
  11. Invoice processing and filing.
  12. Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
  13. Bank reconciliation.
  14. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.

Job Requirements

  • BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • 1 year post NYSC work experience as an Accounting Assistant.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel (VLOOKUP) and accounting software and other MS applications.
  • Organization skills.

Salary Range
N90,000 – N120,000 gross per month.
