Job Position: Finance Intern

Job Locations: Abuja

Basic Function

  • A Finance Intern is responsible for providing support to the finance department and gaining valuable hands-on experience in various finance-related tasks.
  • This is a full-time, temporary position that provides an opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and develop essential skills in finance.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  2. Participate in budget preparation and monitoring
  3. Support the accounts payable and receivable processes
  4. Help with the maintenance of accurate financial records
  5. Conduct research and data analysis to support various finance projects
  6. Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

Job Requirements

  1. Currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with grade not below 2:1 and with a professional qualification of ACCA, ACA or ACMA. Two years post-NYSC.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
