Job Position: Quantity Surveyor

Job Location: Lagos Lagos,

Job Responsibilities

  1. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
  2. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  3. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
  4. Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
  5. Preparing tender documents, reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
  6. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  7. Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
  8. Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
  9. Measure and value the work done on site
  10. Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
  11. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
  12. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  13. Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
  • 5 – 10 years of general cconstruction estimating experienced and financial experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Sound knowledge of construction.
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
  • Great networking abilities.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
