Job Position: Field Service Personnel

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • The field service engineer interacts with our customers and are responsible for the design, Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of wireless devices at client location.
  • He/she will install new hardware and software and keep track of existing problems, solving complex local network issues within the customers premises ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for installation and configuration of customer premise equipment (CPE) at client locations.
  2. Provide post-installation education to client on simple troubleshooting
  3. Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues involving installations and internet connectivity.
  4. Maintain accurate service logs and enter them in the database
  5. Resolution of trouble ticket
  6. Application of configuration changes via our change control systems and processes.
  7. Liaise with customer service and sales teams with regards customer complaints and enquiries
  8. Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure uptime is maintained and corrective maintenance.
  9. Perform equipment upgrade and configuration
  10. Draft and submit reports.

Job Requirements

  1. Must Possess B.Sc (2.1) or HND (Upper credit) in Electrical and Electronics engineering, Computer science, Information technology, or any other related discipline.
  2. Sound knowledge in networking will be an added advantage (Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  3. Strong customer service skills
  4. Written and verbal communication skill to understand issues customers have and to explain technical information to customers in clear terms
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues.
  6. Time management skills to handle appointments and stay on schedule.
  7. Attention to details and ability to multi-task
  8. Organisational skills.
  9. Computer and technical skills.
