Job Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Location: Umuokrika Industrial Estate, Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo

Job Description

  • We are looking for a reliable Quality Assurance Manager to join our team!  As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the sustainable quality of our products and services before customers’ consumption.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee internal processes and procedures to ensure quality
  2. Oversee other quality control staff
  3. Hire, train and evaluate staff
  4. Regularly analyze quality data and suggest actions based on collected data
  5. Manage the log of quality reports and other quality documentation
  6. Ensure quality and sustainability of production processes
  7. Investigate customers’ needs and want and develop a strategy for meeting their needs
  8. Communicate with the Product Development team on a daily basis

Job Requirements

  1. BSc / BA in Business Administration or relevant field
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or similar role
  3. Experience in doing customer research with the purpose to assess their needs and wants
  4. Experience with Quality Assurance Management
  5. Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  6. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  7. Knowledge of MS Office and databases
  8. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  9. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  10. Team player
  11. Good time-management skills
  12. Great interpersonal and communication skills
  13. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
