Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
The Social Media Manager will be required to perform the following duties amongst others:

  1. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification that will enhance the brand and grow our online audience.
  2. Curate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  3. Own scheduling of content calendars, and posting to ensure messaging is deployed as per the schedule and is consistent with brand initiatives.
  4. Champion day-to-day community management of social platforms including daily moderation across social properties. Send periodic newsletters to a selected audience.
  5. Consistently carry out research on all units that will aid content development.
  6. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  7. Create monthly analytic reports on audience growth, best-performing tactics, and key conversational threads with the aim of improving social strategy and brand positioning.
  8. Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
  9. Curate influencer lists and deploy outreach for brand campaign initiatives.
  10. Design visuals for all units’ websites, blogs, Facebook, email campaign, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND holder from any institution of repute.
  2. A minimum of 4 years experience in social media/digital community management.
  3. Demonstrable experience in and proof of successful social media management.
  4. Proficient use of content scheduling tools.
  5. Familiar with and ability to use visual design tools such as photoshop, canva, illustrator, etc.
  6. Demonstrable understanding of storytelling and marketing copywriting trends across varied media types.
  7. Excellent copywriting skills.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
  9. Ability to schedule and manage workload.
