Job Position: Motion Graphics Designer

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and create excellent and engaging motion graphics for video. Deliverables include:
  2. (Moniepoint Corporate videos, Social Media Videos, Short form and long form & videos) etc.)
  3. Prepare, design and plan concept layouts for motion design& projects.
  4. Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.
  5. Work with the marketing, communications and employer branding teams to understand project scope and objectives.
  6. Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
  7. Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
  8. Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  9. Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
  10. Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
  11. Participate in a creative brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  12. Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
  13. Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest motion design techniques.
  14. Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.

Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, we think you should have:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field.
  2. You have prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
  3. Required Software Knowledge – Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, 3Ds MAX, Adobe, Adobe Animate, Adobe Substance painter, Adobe Photoshop.
  4. Knowledge of Adobe premiere and BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
