Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Description

  1. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele and drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
  2. Candidates should have relevant educational qualifications, a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in relevant industries, and will be on projects within Lagos Island.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  9. Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field with 3 – 5 years relevant work experience.
  2. Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  3. Proven sales track record
  4. Experience in customer support is a plus
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  6. Proficiency in English
  7. Market knowledge
  8. Communication and negotiation skills
  9. Ability to build rapport
  10. Time management and planning skills.
