Job Position: Chartered Accountant

Job Description

  • The role of the Accountant is summarily the accurate recording, rendition, and Analysis of the Company’s Financial Operations in accordance with professional standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Professionally maintain the Accounting Records of the Company.
  2. Support Management in the preparations of Business Plans and Budgets.
  3. Prepare the Company’s final Accounts for external audit.
  4. Financial Analysis and Advisory Functions.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with at least 2/2 from an Approved Institute.
  2. MUST be a Chartered Accountant.
  3. Working knowledge of International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS).
  4. A minimum of 3 years’ proven Accounting experience in a structured Organization.
  5. Age: Not older than 35 years

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Must be generally ICT savvy.
  2. Proficiency in the use of MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint must at least be at intermediate level. Competence in the use of Zoom for online meetingsis essential.
  3. Proficiency in the use of at least 2 Accounting Software Packages for MSMEs.
  4. Attention to details and good time management.
  5. Good written and verbal communication.
  6. Excellent work ethics and Integrity.
