Job Position: Cook

Job Location: Ago Iwoye, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to recipes and standards set by the hotel.
  2. Ensure high-quality food presentation and maintain consistency in taste and appearance.
  3. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
  4. Manage food inventory and control costs by minimizing waste.
  5. Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  7. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members.
  8. Assist with menu planning and ordering of supplies.

Job Requirements

  1. A culinary Diploma or relevant certification is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  3. In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  4. Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Creativity and the ability to develop new and innovative dishes.
