Job Position: Batching Plant Operator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The employees will be responsible for the set up and tear down, operation, maintenance and record keeping of portable concrete batch plant.
  2. In addition to operating the plant, the employee will assist with the coordination of daily plant activities such as scheduling truck drivers and ordering plant materials.
  3. Operates concrete plant to batch materials used for the refinery construction.
  4. Manage controls to heat, weigh and mix aggregate, cement, and water to produce concrete that conforms to procedures

Job Responsibilities

  1. Knowledge of concrete batching systems
  2. Manage control to heat, weigh and mix aggregates, cement and water to produce concrete confirming to specifications
  3. Understanding of quality requirement of concrete
  4. Maintain accurate reports as required
  5. Ensure safe operation of batching plant
  6. Understanding and experience in calibration of batching
  7. Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily work load throughout the plant; monitor plant cleanliness. . Oversee all maintenance

Desired Qualification/Preferred Competencies

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with good knowledge of software application
  • 3 – 5 years’ of concrete batching experience in a huge construction project, excellent experience in batching plants operations and having a maintenance experience will be added advantage.

Salary
N100,000 – N600,000 / month.
