Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing the House of Tara Makeup School.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build the presence of the school inclusive of its social media pages
  2. Monitoring calls of prospects
  3. Ensure that the makeup school achieves or surpasses its targets such as publicity, revenue generation among others
  4. Ensure that the school generates quality leads that become active clients
  5. Build strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders that will drive revenue
  6. Review, implement and monitor the makeup school calendar/curriculum
  7. Monitor exams held across the makeup schools
  8. Monitor the makeup school instructors to ensure they comply with laid down policies
  9. Ensure students comply to all school policies
  10. Ensure certificates are printed and sent on time to all locations
  11. Ensure school result for students are collated and sent to all students
  12. Update the makeup school database
  13. Receive weekly feedback from both students and Instructors
  14. Prepare and submit reports
  15. Coordinate periodic instructors’ retreat
  16. Supervise the work activities of the school instructors and manage their performance
  17. Ensure that quality training is passed across all makeup schools of HOTi
  18. Prepare budgets, policies and events for the makeup schools
  19. Work with team to provide solution for specific or immediate problems or needs as they arise.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned to you from time to time

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of a University Degree
  2. At least 4 years proven experience as a Business Development/ Sales Manager/ Makeup School Instructor
  3. Knowledge of administrative processes
  4. Knowledge of makeup trends and its industry
  5. Creative skills
  6. Proficient in MS Office
  7. Business oriented and performance targets driven
  8. Excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills
  9. Strategic thinker and implementer
  10. Outstanding organizational ability
  11. Attention to detail
  12. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  13. Ability to make good judgment.
