Job Position: Sales and Marketing Officer

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are in need of vibrant young & smart individuals, who are able to handle targeted marketings to major businesses in any area of focus – both online and offline
  2. The management will be selecting and promoting competent and result driven Executives to manage the digital/online channels of the company while working directly with Logistic Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Establish relationships with major businesses situated on the island & Mainland while Marketing our Dispatch delivery & Haulage services within the area of focus (e.g focus on businesses in & around Yaba, Ogudu, Magodo, Surulere, Gbagada, Shomolu, Ikeja, V.i / Ikoyi / Lekki)
  2. To ensure that we handle designated deliveries & become the logistics partners for businesses like Breakfast tray vendors, souvenir dealers, food vendors, restaurants, offices, etc.
  3. Maintain client relationships & ensure continuous business.
  4. Identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
  5. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization.
  6. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  7. Meet with customers / clients face to face or over the phone.
  8. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  9. Work strategically carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  10. Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
  11. Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
  12. Help to plan sales campaigns.
  13. Create a sales pipeline.
  14. Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
  15. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum Qualification : OND
  2. Experience Level : Entry level
  3. Experience Length : 1 year
  4. Be smart & resourceful.
  5. Great knowledge of how to socialize and interact with the major businesses & vendors.
  6. Have a working smartphone.
  7. Be well-spoken & presentable.
  8. The ability to work with minimal / no supervision.
  9. Be able to use Microsoft office tools.
  10. Age preference is between 21-30 years.
