Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
  2. Preparation of quarterly budget and supervising implementation
  3. Preparation of job costing and project management report
  4. Timely report on budget and cost variances
  5. Preparation of monthly Pension, NHF, NSITF and PAYE and remittances
  6. Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement
  7. Preparation of monthly payroll and payment of staff salaries
  8. Preparation of timely projects report
  9. Preparation of bills and client invoicing
  10. Timely management of account payables and receivables
  11. Timely advice to the MD on the improvement necessary in the accounting and control systems
  12. Liaising with the external auditors on finalization of the annual report and other outsource assignments
  13. Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health. Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
  14. Must be available in 2 weeks.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND in Accounting with at least 3 years experience
  2. An IT-savvy Accountant with excellent finance and analytical skills.
  3. Must be ICAN certified.
  4. Must be able to use accounting softwares
  5. Strong analytical and IT skills
  6. Excellent communication skills.
