Job Position: Accountant / Operations Support Officer

Job Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Job Description

  1. We are seeking an Accountant / Operations Support to join our Operations team.
  2. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of general accounting and operations tasks within the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Complying with all firm, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
  2. Compiling, evaluating, and reporting financial data.
  3. Creating periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and so on.
  4. Providing data to managers, investors, and other groups.
  5. Maintaining proper financial records.
  6. Conducting audits and addressing discrepancies.
  7. Tax computation.
  8. Keeping current on financial and accounting legislation.
  9. Assisting management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Job Requirements
Candidates must possess:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related course.
  2. At least two years working experience in a similar position.
  3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  4. Analytical, communication, and computer abilities are essential.
  5. Sound Knowledge of mathematics, accounting, and financial operations.
  6. Meticulous, honest and trustworthy.
