Job Position: International Product Growth Specialist

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

  1. Provide local insights – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for organization’s success across Nigeria.
  2. Understand and communicate organization’s strategic and competitive position in Nigeria.
  3. Explore, identify and drive execution on strategic growth opportunities.
  4. Escalate to and drive solutions with product management for identified market specific product issues and gaps.
  5. Partner with the analytics organization to validate key findings with data.
  6. Ensure the organization’s family of apps is fully functional and well adapted to be successful across Nigeria.
  7. Follow product teams closely to identify new product/feature launch plans and changes that may impact product growth across Nigeria
  8. Identify critical usability issues and suggest optimization plans to enhance user experience.
  9. Design and oversee local execution of a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows.

Job Requirements

  • B. Sc/B. Eng in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent working experience.
  • 7+ years consumer tech product management or related field experience
  • Must be based in Nigeria and have familiarity with the socio-economic and political environment in Nigeria.
  • Fluency in both written and conversational English.
  • Fluency in at least one indigenous language, Hausa language is a bonus.
