Job Position: Mechanical Engineer

Job Locations: Dopemu – Lagos; Papalanto, Abeokuta, Ota, and Ogijo – Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
  2. Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
  3. Lead all Mechanical aspects of the work required.
  4. Participate in meetings, technical presentations, and audits.
  5. Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
  6. Estimate the budget and scope of the project.
  7. Keeps records and ensures the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule is carried out accordingly.
  8. Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE requirements
  9. Research options and recommend solutions to resolve operating and/or maintenance issues.
  10. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  11. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
  12. Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  13. The Mechanical Engineer should be a highly creative individual with ample technical experience in designing innovative technical solutions in accordance with the requirement of the group.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Minimum of two years of Technical and Mechanical Engineering experience
  3. Relevant Project, Professional and Safety Certifications will be an added advantage.
  4. COREN certification is an added advange.
  5. Familiarity with engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, or any other)
