Job Position: Mechanical Engineer
Job Locations: Dopemu – Lagos; Papalanto, Abeokuta, Ota, and Ogijo – Ogun
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
- Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Lead all Mechanical aspects of the work required.
- Participate in meetings, technical presentations, and audits.
- Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
- Estimate the budget and scope of the project.
- Keeps records and ensures the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule is carried out accordingly.
- Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE requirements
- Research options and recommend solutions to resolve operating and/or maintenance issues.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- The Mechanical Engineer should be a highly creative individual with ample technical experience in designing innovative technical solutions in accordance with the requirement of the group.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of two years of Technical and Mechanical Engineering experience
- Relevant Project, Professional and Safety Certifications will be an added advantage.
- COREN certification is an added advange.
- Familiarity with engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, or any other)
