Job Position: Economic Analyst and Presenter

Job Description

  1. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven economic analyst with a high net worth and strong social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion to discuss and analyze economic trends and development on an on-air presentation platform while engaging our audiences with his professional expertise.
  2. As a seasoned economic analyst, you must be ready to bring game-changing economic trends and developments to life and join a community that values civic engagement and political consciousness for the people. The successful candidate will have outstanding on-air presentation skills and a proven track record of engaging audiences with debate topics and contents that are economic-centered.

Job Responsibilities

  2. We are looking for individuals with passion for digital broadcast and online media presentation.
  3. Applicant should have work experience in interviewing and writing, with strong English skills, while demonstrating excellent editorial judgement and conduct on social media.
  4. Research on economic-related topics, combining online sources, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication
  5. Develop positive and constructive relationships with sources across a wide range of industries, organizations and regions to bring diverse and well-informed voices into daily reporting.
  6. Attract, interview, study, and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.
  7. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research.
  8. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content original text, images, video or HTML that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  9. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
  10. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
  11. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
  12. Promote content on social media.
  13. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
  14. Ensure all-around consistency in style, fonts, images and tone.
  15. Update website content as needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Communications, Marketing, Business Analysis, Journalism, Public Relations, Media or equivalent.
  2. Proven working experience in Market Analysis with portfolio of proven written articles.
  3. Demonstrable social networking experience and analytics tools knowledge.
  4. Minimum of three years of experience in TV / Web / Media presentation.
  5. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
  6. Proven experience in news reporting and ability to perform in front of the camera.
  7. Strong writing and storytelling skills, and knowledge of local, national, and international economic news and current events.
  8. Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  9. Good understanding of social networks and the audience.
  10. Proven filming and editing abilities.
  11. Proven organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.
  12. Good editorial judgement, demonstrated ability to produce original and enterprising news reports.
  13. Ability to manage new and emerging technologies.
  14. Experience and/or knowledge of third party community sites and social networks such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and others.
  15. Experience with paid social media campaigns.
  16. Strong portfolio of previous work.

Key Skill Sets Preferred:

  1. Writing, editorial and media presentation skills.
  2. Up to three years’ experience working as an economic analyst.
  3. Experience working independently and as part of a team and incorporating feedback.
  4. An engaged social media presence and management skills.
  5. Up-to-date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
  6. Digital Media creation (High-Value Content write-up, podcasts, video, and narrative story-telling)
