Job Position: City Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining and increasing sales of the company’s products
  2. Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
  3. Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  4. Servicing the needs of your existing customers
  5. Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  6. Setting sales targets for individual reps and the team as a whole
  7. Organizing and Training for newly employed and existing Agent Supervisors
  8. Conducting Market research and analysis and developing sales strategies and setting targets
  9. Monitoring the team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
  10. Compiling and analyzing sales figures
  11. Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
  12. Collecting customer feedback and market research
  13. Reporting to senior managers
  14. Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  15. POS Agent Daily report Analysis and action
  16. Allocate Sales Managers and Agent Supervisors to prospective area based on data analyst feedback
  17. Collate BDM daily report
  18. Go on the field minimum twice a week with AS or SM to do competitors survey and visit our agents.
  19. Collect issues and find solutions.

Job Requirements
To be a City Manager, you’ll need to have:

  1. BSc in Business Administration or any related field
  2. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Area/City/Regional Sales Manager
  3. Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  4. Good business sense
  5. The ability to motivate and lead a team
  6. Initiative and enthusiasm
  7. Excellent communication and ‘people skills’
  8. Good planning and organizational skills
  9. The ability to work calmly under pressure
  10. Good IT, budget and report writing skills
  11. Must be proficient in using MS Office packages (Especially Excel).
