Job Position: Financial Analyst

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Review financial reports, monitor accounts, and prepare activity reports and financial forecasts, investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers or acquisitions

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide and interpret financial information.
  2. Monitor and interpret cash flows and predicting future trends.
  3. Provide high quality support service to line managers/officers in the organisation
  4. Ensure that all accounts receivables are tracked, processed and payments made on schedule to enable management get the full advantage of time value of money and aid cash flow requirements
  5. Formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
  6. Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
  7. Analyze competitors and market trends
  8. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  9. Supervise account officer’s staff.
  10. Directs the preparation of financial reports
  11. Summarize and forecast the company’s financial report.
  12. Prepares and manages financial budget to maintain an effective internal cost control system.
  13. Carry out financial analysis of company results and interprets results

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or recognised equivalent
  2. ACA/ ACCA
  3. Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in financial accounting
