Job Position: Accountant

Job Description

  1. We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 2 years of experience to join our Finance department.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial data with precision.
  3. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits, including gathering necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  3. Month-end Close: Assist in the monthly and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial reporting.
  5. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company’s financial practices remain in compliance.
  6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
  7. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • ICAN or other relevant certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
