Job Position: Fund Transfer Specialist

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Treatment of erroneous transfer, fraudulent and non-receipt of fund
  2. Placing a hold on funds based on an erroneous and fraudulent transfer
  3. Attend to all queries from clients on dispute issues and ensure they are resolved promptly
  4. Management of DRS process and portal.
  5. Engagement with other banks’ NIP and Compliance teams for resolution
  6. Ensure customers’ complaints are properly reviewed before engaging the banks.
  7. Reviewing the settlement report against funds in customers’ accounts,
  8. Follow up on the status of all transactions treated to ensure that they are all successfully processed into beneficiary’s accounts.
  9. Engaging NIBSS for status confirmations of claims
  10. Maintain a proper record of all transactions disputed.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  2. Prior experience in fund transfer or a related financial role.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including AML and KYC requirements.
  4. Proficiency in using financial software and systems for fund transfers.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
