Maisha Meds is an organization dedicated to improving health care in Africa. We began full-time operations in 2017 and over the past few years have grown to support over 1.5 million patient encounters annually across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, and Zambia with our suite of software products. We are building the financial and technology infrastructure to enable global health funders to pay for health outcomes at the last mile, with a focus on malaria case management (and results from a RCT with UC Berkeley due out later this year), injectable contraceptives, prenatal care, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, and COVID testing and vaccination.

Job Description

  1. We are looking for enthusiastic and diligent team members who will join our team with a focus on growing our customer base in Nigeria.
  2. The candidate should have experience in customer adoption, customer retention, customer experience and working collaboratively with other members of the customer experience team. Reps who enjoy a fast-paced working environment, love working with and interacting with customers, and contributing to creating a vibrant customer support culture at Maisha Meds. You should be a strong communicator, and driven to innovate new solutions on the go.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer support by being the primary point of contact for all customer-related communications through all channels of communication
  2. Conduct regular field visits to our facilities to maintain and create a high customer lifetime value.
  3. Understanding and owning customer-related problems to provide timely resolution to all customer complaints, and pushing for quick resolution.
  4. Present, promote and sell our software and the corresponding hardware using a question-led, active listening approach.
  5. Expertly master our product knowledge to accurately inform and educate prospective customers.
  6. On our CRM, HubSpot, regularly track your activities, and necessary deals
  7. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to maintain a retention rate of 95%

Job Requirements

  1. Degree (minimum) in Business, Customer Service, Pharmacy Business or other related fields
  2. Tech conversant and ability to quickly learn and become a proficient user of both our app and internal tools.
  3. Great communication and listening skills.
  4. Empathetic and customer obsessed personality.
  5. Ownership and multitasking skills
  6. Experience with customer journey processes and CRM systems a plus
  7. Excited and energetic to work and build great relationships with customers
  8. Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning, feedback, and continuous improvement
  9. We are looking for passionate professionals that combine patience, a humble approach to service and a desire to build great customer relationships
  10. You care deeply about what we’re building and how it may change how healthcare is accessed for millions of patients.
  11. Must reside in or very close to Lagos Island
