Job Position: Account Officer

Job Location: Oniru, Lagos

Job Description

  1. As the restaurant account officer, you are responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the restaurant. your primary role is to ensure accurate and organized accounting for the restaurant’s financial activities.
  2. You perform various tasks related to financial management, record-keeping, and reporting to support the smooth operation of the restaurant’s financial systems.

Job Responsibilities
Daily:

  1. Record & reconcile POS sales and Deposits.
  2. Manage vendor invoices and Proper documentation.

Weekly:

  1. Bill pays; help operators manage approval and payment for outstanding invoices.
  2. Record & reconcile payroll.

Monthly:

  1. Reconcile bank accounts.
  2. Produce monthly income statements and balance sheet.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  2. Client engagement: Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of experience managing the books for a restaurant
  3. Good problem-solving and time management skills
  4. Highly organized and detail-oriented
  5. Self-directed / Strong sense of ownership
  6. Working knowledge of GAAP
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  8. Understands and values hospitality.
  9. Smart and motivated team player.
