Job Position: Fleet Supervisor

Job Description

  1. This full-time Fleet Supervisor role is located on-site at our Lagos location.
  2. The Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  3. The Fleet Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining communication with drivers and management teams to ensure our fleet is operating smoothly and efficiently.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  2. Supervisory Skills: The candidate should have experience supervising a team of drivers and/or support staff.
  3. Fleet Operations: The candidate should be familiar with the day-to-day operations of a commercial fleet, including routing, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance.
  4. Fleet Management: The candidate should be able to manage a fleet of vehicles, including planning and scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  5. Communication: The candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with drivers, management teams, and other stakeholders.
  6. Maintenance: The candidate should have experience in maintaining commercial vehicles, including coordinating preventive maintenance and overseeing repairs.
  7. Experience in the food service industry is a plus.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
