Illmi Children’s Fund (ICF) is a non-profit organization that bridges the gap between access to funding and basic education. ICF aims to reduce the number of out of school children in Nigeria through the provision of access to basic education thereby, ensuring every child has the core literacy and numeracy skills which will provide them with a foundation for a better future. ICF targets underprivileged, internally displaced, almajiri and out of school children with a focus in hard-to-reach communities as we believe this is the starting point for the socio-economic development of a community.

Job Position: Admin / HR Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. Admin and HR role at Illmi Children Fund involves overseeing day-to-day administrative operations, managing human resources functions, and fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement and development initiatives.
  2. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with HR policies, addressing personnel matters, and contributing to strategic HR planning to support the overall mission of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage administrative tasks, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  2. Coordinate weekly meetings, appointments, and external visitation for Management.
  3. Answer and direct emails, phone calls and inquiries to appropriate personnel.
  4. Assist in documents preparation, letter writing, data entry and maintain records.
  5. Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and personnel records management, in compliance with organizational policies.
  6. Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive work environment and team collaboration.
  7. Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR-related duties to support staff welfare.
  8. Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and best practices.
  9. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance the skills and capacities of the organization’s workforce.
  10. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
  11. Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, and ensuring a harmonious work environment.
  12. Handle disciplinary matters and conflict resolution, maintaining a fair and respectful workplace.
  13. Support the organization’s leadership in strategic HR planning and decision-making.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. And any other duties as may be assigned.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
