Job Position: Event Manager

Job Description

  • The Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that align with the company’s objectives. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and design impactful event strategies.
  3. Research and propose innovative event concepts, themes, and formats to enhance the attendee experience.
  4. Oversee end-to-end event execution, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual requirements, and on-site coordination.
  5. Ensure seamless operations during events, managing event staff and resolving any issues that may arise.
  6. Monitor and control event budgets to optimize expenses and achieve financial objectives.
  7. Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to increase event attendance and engagement.
  8. Implement marketing strategies to maximize event visibility across various channels, including social media, email, and traditional marketing avenues.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze success metrics, and generate reports to assess event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Utilize feedback and insights to refine future event strategies and enhance overall event quality.
  11. And any other tasks that may be required of you by the CEO.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in event management, preferably within the industry/sector.
  3. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  6. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
