Job Position: Graphic Designer / Artist

Job Location: Kola Alagbado, Lagos

Job Description

  • The role is to create visual concepts and communicate ideas through digital platforms. Design layouts, logos, and illustrations using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and other software.Strong creativity and understanding of design principles are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create original graphics and artwork for the company (illustrative, photographic, typographic).
  2. Apply new and existing logo designs to existing designs
  3. Develop logos and branding materials for events.
  4. Work on product programs in conjunction with other departments
  5. Work with the product development & merchandising team to ensure designs are producible.
  6. Design content for digital marketing, including web banners, e-blasts, and social posts.
  7. Create images that identify a product and convey a message.

Job Requirements

  1. Applicant must have a Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Applicant must have at least two (2) years’ experience as a graphic designer.
  3. Applicant must reside within Agege, Ikeja, Alagbado axis of Lagos
  4. Applicant must have graduated with at least second-class upper division from a reputable university.
  5. Applicant must be familiar with social media.
  6. Applicant must be conversant in the use of MS Office Suite.

Person Specification:

  1. Artistic ability: must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing,Should be able to produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program.
  2. Communication skills: must communicate with team managers, project team members, project managers, customers, and other designers to ensure that your designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information.
  3. Creativity: must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. You must be able to develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning
  4. Time-management skills: Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.
  5. Intelligence: must have the ability to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate those in an easy-to-understand manner.
  6. Work ethics: must be able to proactively pursue our organization’s mission with a high degree of energy and daily activity.
  7. Must be quick to learn and fast thinker, creative and smart.
