Job Position: Senior Sales Manager

Job Description

  • The Senior Sales Manager will be a high flying individual who will lead the sales team by providing guidance, training, and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories, and coordinating their team.

Job Responsibilities
Planning:

  1. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  2. Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
  3. Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan.

Strategy and Execution:

  1. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
  2. Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans
  3. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.

Leadership:

  1. Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
  2. Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
  3. Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.

Sales Operations:

  1. Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  2. keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors’ activities.
  3. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
  4. Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate VOC data to superiors
  5. Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to distribution partners to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process.

Reporting:

  1. Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts
  2. Prepare reporting for the Sales Lead and Senior Executives as needed
  3. Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  2. Over 10 years of experience in sales.
  3. Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  4. Experience in customer relationship management.
  5. Experience managing and directing a sales team.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  8. Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Salary
N1,500,000 annually.
