Job Position: Full-Time Pharmacist
Job Location: Ojodu Beger / Mainland – Lagos
Job Description
- Full-Time Pharmacist will prescribe drugs, counsel and provide information to patients about medications and their use.
Job Responsibilities
- Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
- Informing customers of any potential side effects.
- Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
- Providing medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
- Providing other health advice, such as guidance on stopping smoking.
- Ensuring a safe, organized and clean pharmacy environment.
- Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practices.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and industry trends.
- Performing other administrative tasks when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
- At least 1 year clinical experience required.
- Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and attention to details.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to observe and think critically.
- Time Management and scheduling.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Working knowledge of software applications used by pharmacies.
Salary
N170,000 – N200,000 / month.
