Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Kado, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to take lead on all marketing and business development activities.
  2. To excel in this role, you need to have strong leadership skills and manage the team to drive & generate revenue opportunities for the company.

Job Responsibilities
Product Knowledge:

  1. Develop a sound understanding of all IT products and value propositions & continuously expand knowledge of Products.
  2. Conduct presentations and be able to demonstrate Product functionalities completely and accurately.
  3. Answer all customer product-related inquiries promptly and professionally.

Business Development:

  1. Think strategically, work strategically and act strategically.
  2. Develop a Business Development Strategy to achieve short & long-term goals and increase client base.
  3. Proactively identify & harness new business opportunities and potential clients in the public and private sectors.
  4. Write, prepare and submit Business Proposals.
  5. Work with Finance Team to develop pricing proposals.
  6. Build and retain long-term relationships with existing clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
  7. Develop relationships and network with key clients and senior decision-makers in government Agencies, Private Organizations, and other relevant influencers.
  8. Develop goals and sales targets for the development team and ensure they are met.
  9. Work with Social Media Team in Content Creation, and using Social Media to drive business growth.
  10. Brainstorm, think strategically, and develop an approach to close deals and convert leads to customers.

Others:

  1. Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients.
  2. Work with IT Department to ensure Customer Product satisfaction.
  3. Provide periodic feedback to the product development team.
  4. Prepare Monthly and Annual Reports that track business development activities and measure performance with appropriate KPIs and metrics.
  5. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Masters’s Degree in Marketing, Business Development or a related field.
  • 5 – 7 years cognate experience.
  • Experience working in an IT Company will be an added advantage.
  • Adept computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheets), and Word Processing.
  • Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage and independently lead various projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience building rapport and creating strong relationships.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Able to grasp technical and product-related concepts quickly and accurately.

Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
