Job Position: Human Resource Assistant
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Description
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
- Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
- Assist Head of Admin in policy formulation, hiring and salary administrations well as communicating all updates to employees
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
- Maintain the departmental email account, responding to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Track employee attendance, PTO, and leaves, and assist with payroll processing and documentation.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field, further training is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience as HR officer
- Proficiency in administrative functions such as pay and benefits, recruitment, training etc
- proficient in MS office, knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Strong ethics and reliability (Problem-solving and decision making aptitude)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
