Job Position: Biller Product Manager

Job Locations: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about our mission of driving financial inclusion in Africa and inquisitive about the Fintech space in Nigeria and the rest of the world.
  2. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the PalmPay app and other company’s products, comparing them against competitor offerings and matching them with market trends, analyzing market data, identifying consumer behaviours and trends, and making recommendations from a local perspective.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Using market research to get ideas for products that customers will want
  2. Helping to oversee the design and manufacture and planning how to market and promote the product to the public
  3. Comparing the company’s products to competitor’s products in order to assess competition in the market
  4. Providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management
  5. Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
  6. Reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and product production schedules to maintain product availability

Job Requirements

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required since the Product Manager has to communicate with team members, other departments, upper management and consumers of the company’s products
  2. At least 5 years experience
  3. Expertise in the Vas (Biller) product or market including specific technical or industry knowledge(Airtime, Data, Electricity, Betting etc) and be familiar with Biller business man
  4. Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
  5. Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
  6. Team player who collaborates well with others
  7. Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience.
